    The current disk state is retained even after reboots, so Steadier State can be used to test software that requires a reboot. Rollbacks are done by choosing "Roll Back Windows" from the boot menu when the computer boots. There is also a method provided to update the frozen disk state by merging the changes made in the current disk state into the frozen disk state.

    You need Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 7 Enterprise, or Windows Server 2008 R2 in order to use Steadier State.
