    IMHO, there are lots of better solutions than StartUp Defender...WinPatrol Free and Anvir, to name a few.

    Any HIPS or contemporary firewall (most of them are FW+HIPS) will do a better job and cover MUCH more that this 1-trick pony.

    Thats what I was thinking. I was sitting there looking at it and said "Hmmm shouldn't a good HIP's do this?

    20 dollars for it it's really ridiculous. I can't believe people actually charge for a startup manager.
    I'm not a programmer and i could easily do a a program like that. I won't though because i'm lazy and i already have similar programs that do the same and much more. (PEGuard!)

    The site says - "Supports 64 bit Windows." SO?! It's just a startup manager ~ Snipped as per TOS ~
