standalone text search tool for windows and linux plus another app that does alot!

i saw this and tried it and it works, with linux it needs to be run with wine and i suppose you can use cli tools instead, but the reason i like it is you can see all the text in one window while you do the searches. i searched through a big directory full of text files and found phrases i was looking for. it's called Depeche View

Nowhere near as in depth maybe but NIRSOFT just released a SEARCH tool of it's own recently, it might be worth a look anyway. Assembly compiled apps seem to be lightning quick & maintain a legacy of also being "Lite" on windows system.
