This release contains a number of bug fixes, as well as features like our new bundled PDF viewer, more sync services, and improved plug-in handling. This release also contains a new version of Flash.

You mean besides the obvious - that Iron is just a rebranded version of Google Chrome?

It seems to be running well, the speed dial has been reduced to eight & there have been some other changes, but it is still the fastest loading browser I have ever used.

Just a note here but this quote from Rules is likely from a Chrome changelog and not Iron. Srware has not and likely cannot bundle the PDF viewer nor the flash plugin with it's Iron browser.

    Running well here.
Installed over the top of the older version.

then type in Google "user guide pdf" ... 1st hit for Apple iPhone pdf guide,
click ---> opens immediately in the browser

it sho' be fast tho' ...

You likely already have Flash and a PDF reader installed on your system.

thanks for your feedback in a kind manner, appreciated -
'cause i'm about to learn something here ....

so i installed a fresh XP to a machine, then opened the same Iron portable, go to YouTube,
and of course I need to dL the Flash plugin from Adobe ..... just like with IE, right?

go to the same link for pdf, and Iron tries to dL it

    - install PDFxChange viewer, then it opens in Iron browser ....

so .... i want to understand your point --->

    is your point that

is not factual, not accurate ?

and by extension, that it < might > be more of the same "sleight-of-mouth"?
that a variety of peoples are ranting against Iron about?

i'm not looking to flame or rabble-rouse,
i just want to understand the dynamics of the various players ....
i'll personally use 'em and abuse 'em as i choose .... there's no one sacred in my machines ;)

    thx
