    Hi!

I have a lot to say and ask about Spywareguard.
First, I've searched a lot to contact Spywareguard for my Question.
There are no email adresses, phone numbers, contact page's or anything except this forum where I can ask my question, and at this Forum there is no catagorie for posting my Question about Spywareguard!
So please adjust that by making a support/contact page at <snip>, thanks! :D

    But now my question:
Everytime that I start my Computer, I get the pop-up:
You're start-page is changed from ....... to hxxp://searchforfree.com, And I always click on "Remain old page", or something like that.
I want that Spywareguard ALWAYS Remains my old page, I get irritated by the fact that I must click on the "Remain old page" button!

P.S. Sorry about my language, but I'm a 13 year old Boy that life's in the Netherlands, and can only speak Dutch!

    Your Regards,
    Wouter

    Hi, and welcome to Wilders!

First, I have moved your questions into the actual Javacool software forum. This is the SpywareGuard/SpywareBlaster forum. However, the first link you show is NOT to anything related with the actual SpywareGuard but to someone who is using SpywareGuards name to trick you. Firstly we need to confirm that the program you are talking about is actually Javacool's SpywareGuard and not some application using a stolen name. here is the Javacool page where you will find the true SpywareGuard. Is this the program or...?

First, that is certainly Javacool's SpywareGuard running there, however, the webpage you originally linked to, (which was removed from your first post), is not associated with Javacool at all, which is also why the information there is not correct and can not be updated by Javacool. Of course, all of that is unimportant to the actual problem you are having.

SpywareGuard is alerting you over and over to that change because you have embedded spyware infecting your system that SpywareGuard can not do anything about (as far as fixing the actual infection). SpywareGuard is letting you know that this infection is changing your start-page, which is of some value as it is making you aware that a problem exists.

The usual advice to fixing spyware infections is to get one-on-one help at a forum that provides spyware cleaning services. However, I'm afraid we have discontinued the spyware analysis service at Wilders. See this announcement for a list of other sites that still perform this function:

There are plenty of security forums out there that still process HijackThis logs, so just pick one but be sure to read their posting rules. Almost all of them have a specific process you must follow to get help now - simply because it is so much work to process a log.

Here are some forums where you can get such help. Any of them would be a good choice.
