SpywareGuard vs Browser Hijack Blaster

I read an article today on browser hijack prevention by Mike Healan of spywareinfoforum.com in which he recommended using Browser Hijack Blaster 1.0 from Javacool. His link took me to Major Geeks where I read a BHB 1.0 review which sounded remarkably similar to SpywareGuard, also by Javacool.

In about two weeks of diligently searching the web, including time poking around in Wilders Security Forum, I've never run across discussion of Browser Hijack Blaster.

So now I'm confused. Why two products so similar from Javacool? Should I use one, the other, both?

Browser Hijack Blaster was replaced with SpywareGuard by their creator Javacool as noted at the download page below.

The article in which Mike Healan referenced Browser Hijack Blaster was published in March 2004 and updated May 7, 2004, so I thought the software was current.
