spywareGuard runtime error 2147023782...

hello, I hope after the last two hours of intense hunting to get rid of all those spyware/hijackers that mess my IE..

I run spywareGuard as normal and after a while it gives the following error:

"runtime error 2147023782 (8007045a)

Automation error
A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization falied"

Then it crashes and i cant run it again unless i end its process from task manager.

what can i do?

What version of Windows and what other security software are you running?

I got XP pro,
P4 2.4

running along AVG antivirus (it does even when AVG is off)

i tested it without anything else running (to my knowledge!)

Hi,
I posted this a few days ago, i still have the problem with Spy guard.
I think i managed to get rid off that hijacker i had after using a few other programs you recommend (i only used spybot and adaware).
I just want to get Spy guard running for future security.
