SpywareGuard not running on one PC

I can install SpywareGuard, but it will not update. And when it tries to update it just sits there. I use SpyBot S&D, SpywareBlaster, and AVG anti virus. After awhile of trying to update, it locks up, so I remove it in taskmanager. I go to restart and it says files are corrupted yadda yadda yadda. Any ideas? thx This is for my wifes PC, everything installed fine on my rig. Go figure.

 

You have Software Firewall on that machine?

 

I have the same problem. When I try to update SpywareBlaster, an error pops up that there was an error getting the file from the server. The server may be temporarily unavailable, or there may be a conflict with software firewall installed on your machine.

And I reinstalled the MSINF file as instructed in another post. Also, using system connection/proxy settings as my download method.

This is the first time in awhile that this has come up.
