SwG started showing an alert when I go onto the internet and my home page (which I have locked) starts loading. It's a minor change attempt, but would like to remove the cause. I have my home page set at http2://my.msn.com/ and the alert says that there is an attempt to change it to http2://my.msn.com which only takes out the "/". If I choose to accept the change then the next time I go onto the interenet then the alert pops up saying there is an attempt to change my homepage from http2://my.msn.com to http2://my.msn.com/ and this cycle just continues going back and forth. I can choose to restore the old value of http2://my.msn.com/ but the it will not keep the alert from popping up everytime I go onto the internet. Anyone know if this requires a registry edit to correct or have any ideas how to correct this? There's a key in the registry with the Name 3bdd6b017b35029e that is listed as Type REG_SZ with Data listed as ,0,HKCU,Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,First Homepage, with nothing listed after the last ",". Anyhow, just trying to get out of the looptyloop. Thanks. bob forget the "2"'s in the URL.
