spywaregaurd error cant download

    i get this error been getting it for more than two weeks.
    "there was an error getting the update information file from the server. the server may be temprorarily unavailable or there may be a conflict with the firewall software on your machine. the update info. may have been corrupted during download
    please try again

    what should i try to fix?
