SpywareBlaster and updating McAfee VirusScan Online

    Is there a way to set up SpywareBlaster's controls so that we can update VirusScan Online. We haven't been able to update since we started using SpywareBlaster. All we get is a blank screen at McAfee web site. Not sure, but maybe it's a cookie problem?

    Hi zebraman,

    Welcome at Wilders. :)
    To determine if SpywareBlaster is doing this, please open SpywareBlaster, in the Protection screen click Deselect all > Remove protection for unchecked items. Then try to update again.

    Thanks Pieter,
    It seems to have been my ZoneAlarm firewall at the root of the problem. It has worked with VirusScan for 8 months but suddenly there was a problem. Once I shut ZoneAlarm down temporarily, VirusScan updated. SpywareBlaster is working fine, meanwhile, and they all seem to be cohabiting OK -- for now.
