We use AOL's AIM on a computer with win98 and IE6. Over spring break, I installed SWB 3.1 and activated all the protections except for the flash killer. Things looked fine although AIM was not accessed. Yesterday, when we tried to logon to AIM, nothing happened. I backed off all of SWB 3.1 proctions, rebooted, and AIM worked. I then reapplied the protections one at a time except for the flash killer, rebooted each time, and AIM still works. I tried searching the SWB 3.1 block list but I could not find an AOL or AIM entry.

Does anyone know why this happened, and is there something that I need to do to keep this from happening again?

    David
