Looking at the results log after a full virus and spyware scan from spyware terminator it says that my c:\NTDETECT.COM is either corrupted or being hidden. Now this is strange. I do run FDISR and powershadow and sandboxie with comodo firewall. I think normally I'd get a ntldr error message if ntdetect were truly corrupted? I don't get any such ntldr error though. My computer appears to be running fine except I can't use the "print screen" function now. I have been careful to scan every program at virus total and jotti. The only thing I can think of is perhaps it's a defragging issue as I defragged my snapshot. THen I DID NOT reboot but backed up the snapshot to an offline archive. Perhaps I should have rebooted first then backed up the snapshot offline? Anyone?
