spyware putting things in the reg

    when i update spywareblaster i get a load of spyware in the reg is this normal i am not the only one with this problem is this how spyware blaster protects my computer

    When updating SpywareBlaster, you do not get Spyware in your registry. What you get are registry kill bits, each designed to block installation of a particular spyware. This is definitely not a problem and yes the registry kill-bit entries are what SpywareBlaster uses to protect us from spyware installation.

    Which programs do you use? Spybot and AdAware handle these correctly. Some just look for any CLSID's relating to the spyware and remove them (thus disabling the protection) without checking what they key does.

    thank you shooter i just wanted to know to the second question i use spybot and ad_ware as well
