I have a big problem and my home page keeps going to about:blank although I keep on changing it in internet options back to the original page. I also keep on getting pop ups although I thought spyware blaster is supposed to stop this from happening. I keep on running ad-aware but the next time I use my pc this is back on here. Does anyone know how to fix this permenantly? Any advised would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It sounds like you have one of the newer variants of CoolWebSearch (about:blank) hijacker, which involves using specific removal tools, posting a hijackthis log, and step-by-step instructions by someone experienced in removing this type of hijacker. I am afraid we no longer allow the posting of unsolicited HijackThis logs as per our Posting Policy stated in this Announcement.
