Spyware Guard Updates?

    Greetings all,

    I'm not sure if it's a glitch, or simply if there haven't been any issued updates to Spyware Guard, however, my last successful definitions update to SG 2.2 was back on January 22, 2004. Have there been updates since? If so, how may I obtain them? If not, why not?

    Hi and welcome to Wilders,

    If you do a search here, you'll find this has been asked and answered quite a few times. Basically, SG relies heavily on heuristics for protection, rather than individual signatures/definitions, so doesn't need updated particularly often. Your 1/22/04 is right "on the money" with regard to being up to date.
