Spyware Blaster malware cfym

    I have used Spyware Blaster for quite a while. I installed v4 last week with no problem. Today, my Norman NVC Anti-Virus software is disabling Spyware Blaster saying it contains a Trojan - malware cfym and it puts it in quarantine. The program cannot be used any longer.

    Does anyone have any tips on this?

    Welcome to Wilders mikef :). Where did you download the installer of SB v4? You can report an fp to Norman by going here. In the mean time, put SB in Norman's exclusion list (Norman Configuration Editor>Common Settings icon>Exclude List tab).

    Hello there,

    I downloaded it from www.download.com and I believe the install file is fine. I did contact Norman who say it is a false positive and will be addressed in their next update.
