    hello there,

I have a few questions regarding spybot:

    a) I use IE-SPYAD and so do I need to use the 'restricted list' of spyware blaster?

    b) Under restricted sites I notice that nearly all of the items are unticked for some reason. Is there a way I can select all of the items as manually checking all 1612 sites would be tedious to say the least!

    thanks,

    Carlo

Ok, forget b) - I am blind! I just needed to click on 'enable all protection'. Sorry about that.

I would still like to know about a) above though.

    thank you.

    Carlo

IE-Spyad indeed has a very extensive Restricted Sites list. In fact almost all the entries in Spywareblaster are contained in IE-Spyads database which is the possible reason "nearly all of the items are unticked"

IE-Spyad and Spywareblaster place their respective Restricted Sites in the same Internet Explorer registry location. Anytime you remove protection(Restricted Sites) from one program in effect you are removing the same protection(Restricted Sites) for the other program.
