    Hello,

I have a concern about SpyShelter. For over 24 hours now I have not been able to reach their website. Using is it just me confirms the site is not reachable. That is my first concern. Secondly, SpyShelter was regular in releasing updates about once a month or so. Since the recent versions of Premium 6.1 and Firewall 1.0 in January, there have been no releases, not even any beta ones. This is very unusual for SpyShelter. Also, all of my support emails were always answered within 24 hours. During the last month and after sending several emails to their support, I still have not received any responses. Again very unusual for SpyShelter.

Does anyone know what is happening or the status of SpyShelter? I am beginning to wonder if they are still around or not (and I just bought another copy of the firewall 2 months ago). Any replies will be appreciated...

There is something wrong with them. When was the last time Spyshelter and/or Spyshelter Firewall was updated?

    Best regards,

    LMAO!

I haven't got it installed on my system anymore. The last version I have SpyShelter Premium v6.10 and SpyShelter Firewall v1.00.

Can you please confirm if these are the latest versions?

    Best regards,

I think YES...there are the latest version...I haven't any newer installer of those apps and any info about something new from Datpol.
    It's very sad...

Thanks for the confirmation. Paid for lifetime licenses for both Spyshelter Premium and Spyshelter Firewall.

    Best regards,

Yes, I can verify the latest versions were 1.0 for SpyShelter Firewall and 6.1 for SpyShelter Premium. These were both released in late January and went through the beta cycle at the same time. Since January, no release of any form has happened whether it be gold or beta (or even alpha). Prior to this time there was a release of some sort approximately every 4 to 5 weeks but now nothing. Emails have been left unanswered for at least the last two months where previously a response was seen within 24 hours. None of these items add up to the previous way (prior to January 2012) the company had been operating. It has now been about 72 hours that the site has been down. The expiration date is not for another week and should not have anything to do with this. I hate to say it, but this all added together does not leave me with a good feeling.

yes it does remind me of these programs and I hope thats not the case for spyshelter. To many good programs have come and gone.In todays economy unless there getting support in the buisiness world along with consumer its really hard to survive today.

The problem is that programs like spyshelter will not be seen in the corporate world just like so many other none typical programs unlike a Antivirus programs like symantec etc.

It's would be a shame if its gone. Another victim of the lifetime licence model? Their other website (the one that sells keylogging software and hardware) is still up, but states that telephone support is temporarily suspended with contact only by email.

I am not to crazy about annual renewals but its worth it to keep a good program or company to thrive.Honestly I dont know how any one can survive with free versions or lifetime licenses.

I'm more concerned about the developer's well being above getting another version of Spyshelter with my lifetime license. Hopefully, everything is well and it was just time to take a break or move on to something else...

Same sentiment as I have regarding Look 'n' Stop and that I had with Proxomitron.
