Spyshelter w/ DefenseWall HIPS?

Will it be ok to install spyshelter even if you've already have DefenseWall installed? are the two of them can lived together in harmony and will not quarrel?

spyshelter, even their free version is very attractive...

 

DefenseWall makes around 100 SSDT hooks. Spyshelter makes more than 30 SSDT hooks. They both will slow you down a bit. Surely, you AV also make SSDT hooks. If you can live with it, then go ahead for strongest protection Due to slight slowdown, I am still avoiding to install it on my setup.

 

I've used both separately but would not use them together. Either one would work fine with a standard decent AV if needed. I've never experienced any slow downs with either product. However, I prefer the unobtrusiveness of DW. I would not hesitate to use DW by itself as it is proven to be rock-solid.

 

I use DefenseWall Personal Firewall by its self. Never tried it with SS.

 

I use DefenseWall Personal Firewall with KeyScrambler Pro.
No Conflicts/Slowdowns.

 

Use one or the other, no need for two programs that provide similar protection. A good combo that works well together is DefenseWall and Prevx.

 

i tried them both defensewall and spyshelter and yes it slow down the system a litle bit but you feel very secure more secure and DW will do it's job alone

 

I've used them together with no issue's although SS was too noisy for my liking. I now use Zemana Antilogger with DW with no issue's.

That is the combination I use, too! Can't say for SS, since I have never tried it.

 

I never had the need to run anything beside spyshelter maybe just ondemand hitman..SS is noisy but very strong

 

yes k with Spyshelter is more than enough alone

 

The development of SS is very impressive.. I am hoping this software will be a big hit

 

it's not gonna float with Joe/Jane Average if you need a bottle of headache medicine to use it.
