Not to seem stingy, but is there any chance 64-bit support be included in the free version anytime soon?

    Hello,

Thanks for the update on the beta version. Tonight I tried the 5.42 demo version on my PC.

Does this mean the Registry features have progressed beyond the stated experimental phase in 5.42?

    Regards,

    Nathan

Just bought me a premium version! Lifetime upgrades! Great deal!

Tried SS for 2 weeks and I like the small efficient footprint and the low system impact.
Can't wait to give the Beta a try.

No, SS will not...at this moment...participate in these tests. IMO - maybe later but it depends of many reasons...nowadays tests are unclear and probably not enough fair.

    They added their latest test
    http://malwareresearchgroup.com/malware-tests/
    http://malwareresearchgroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/Antilogger-Browser-Security-Test.zip

    Version 5.4 failed.
I dont know about ver 6 beta. I posted changelog, they improved AntiNetworkSpy protection
MRG test tool is not open simulator, It is their own tools. I dont know how it bypass SS.
But, SS has been controlled against all trojans in the wild and no one bypass it. (I am talking about zeus, spyeye and others)
I can say only about test, nice to see MRG change their test results interpretation.

    One should remember about this
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1923148&postcount=17
It was one month ago and nothing is changed to this time.
    BTW...you remember this? :)

    I fully agree with you.

    I never forget anything ;)

    Thats mean;
    They added 3 result probability;
Silent block, Silent bypass, Block via valid user input request.
And removed absurd white list checking

I am just talking about latest linked test and answered @coen99 and you

Yes, This post explain really good previous tests and their professionalism!

And yes, You are right. Test is not baby toy. Test say this software good or bad. Users choice their setup after reading test results. it should be fair and clear.

Does MRG's latest test result show us SS's (and other's) protection level?

    Nope.

What MRG's latest test report show us?

There are one hole on SS, Prevx and some others which is using simulator
    just this.
Some other testers can write another simulator which can bypass "this test's winners"
That will be never ending story.

    Hello,

I just tested the 6.00 version, then uninstalled it. I guess I was hoping for more features in the jump from 5.42 to 6.00. And the Restricted tab is still listed as an experimental feature, but who knows, that could change with the beta testing and become a production feature.

    Regards,

    Nathan

As far as I know SS will have access soon or it have had already access to the MRG simulator, so probably SSv6 will be able to pass the MRG banking test.

I will try to confirm this with Sveta. But the last time I talked with him SS was close to get access to the simulator.
