I installed both SpyGuard & SpyBlaster on the 20th Sept.

I've now noticed that my XP screensaver will start at the set time but only runs a few seconds and then stops.

By using System Restore I have identified SpyGuard as the problem.

It may be that it's just my machine but wondered if anyone else had come across this and if so is there a cure.

I've now disabled the Real-Time scanning engine to see if that makes any difference.

Disabling the Browser Hijacking Protection should work as a temporary fix. For some reason certain 3D Windows screensavers do just as you described when it is enabled.

    Best regards,

Thanks, have done as suggested and the screensaver is working fine.

Does the problem only affect 3D screensavers, will others work without disabling browser hijacking?

Is there likely to be a permanent fix in the near future so that browser hijacking can be re-enabled?

Also, is there a help file, when I click to view it I get error that it can't be found.
