    Hi,

I recently downloaded the latest version of CWShredder v 2.13 from http://www.intermute.com/spysubtract/cwshredder_download.html clicked on link that says 'Download Stand-alone version of CWShredder' and downloaded the program.

After running Spycop....it's telling me that CWShredder is Spector/Spector Pro/EBLaster by Spectorsoft.

I deleted CWShredder just to be safe and redownloaded it and Spycop is again telling me it's a keylogger.

Is this just a false positive in Spycop? Or do we have a serious problem here?

    Thanks for help.

    Hey spycop,

What version are you using and what is the database date ?

While that is a post back from a couple months ago....possibly it's a False positive again o_O

    Not getting it here.

spycop - Does your info when you go to "File"/"Update Signature DataBase" from the SpyCop main screen look exactly like mine?

Both signature date/count and version installed ? Pete

*I even went so far as to re-d/l the stand-alone CWShredder from the link he gave, ran it (scan only), then re-did a full SpyCop scan.

    No alert from SC.

Wasn't too worried - the problem was resolved (nine months ago). Pete
