It is good that the teatimer's graphical interface popups are fixed.
Past it was useless cause of that feature glitch when installing new software.

I don't run any antispyware as resident at the moment, however if one decides to run teatimer again, is it using as much CPU as it used to?
I hope, wish, that it can be disabled easy.
I was maybe a moron? But never could find that setting to disable teatimer, always had to uninstall SpyBot first.

Teatimer:In Spybot main window, Mode>select advanced, tools>resident, uncheck the appropriate box. There is also a "bad download blocker", doesn't hurt to leave that ticked.

I welcome the update. I will also wait until it is out of beta. Sure Spybot is not the best out there any more, but it is still pretty good and it is free or for a donation.

I still think it deserves a star on the Hollywood Blvd of security products. ;)

USA still the best. But barely.
Yup SSD is one of the all time greats. It was there when the only other reliable tool of its kind AdAware. Was on a 9 month break with no updates. For that time period when SSD stepped up. I'll always think fondly of SSD. :thumb:

I'll always keep spybot s&d in my arsenal. Its always worked well for me and the added tools are excellent. Definitely belongs in the hall of antispyware fame.
