Spybot Resident?

    Hi All,

    I seem to have aquired a little icon in my tray called Spybot Resident?...don't ask how, cos I don't know....what I would like to know though please is how do I get rid of it?

    It comes with Spybot S&D version 1.3, enabled at default. To disable the resident (which I wouldnt advise you to) open Spybot>click tools>click Resident>and disable the two checked options.

    *Note* You'll have to be in advanced mode to do this*Note*

    Yeah Cochise, not to worry. Have a look at this page. Also found some info on this at Safer-Networking, home of SpyBot.

    Thanks friends,

    The answers proved to me that the little icon didn't just appear in my Tray....I now know that I put it there whilst messing with things I didn't really understand again....... :D :D :D ...ain't Computers just a barrel of laughs :p

    sure are!they remind me of a pschyotic person that has alot of issues to resolve--thats what i think of every time i'm checking issues on spybot s&d :D :D :D
