spyblaster question

    does the spy blaster aauto load when starting up computer, or do you have to launch it after boot up to enable the protection?

    Hi and welcome,

    SB does its "thing" by setting sort of traps in the registry for malware etc. -- you just need to run it once, after first installing, to set up the protection.

    You'll also want to run it once a week or so to check for definitions updates, or if you want to change protection settings, but otherwise it doesn't run at all, not even as a background process.

    Mike, so after running spywareblaster once and I shut down my computer and the next time I start it I'm still protected without launching the spywareblaster (providing that I keep it up to date) ?

    As long as u have all the protection enabled, yes u are still protected.

    Thats all I need to know Thanx bunch :) After sever hours of weeding out ( with much pain) twaintec and VX2 , now I wont have to worry about them again. :)
