    Hello.

This is my first posting. I am having some big trouble getting rid of 'zestyfind.com' and 'spotresults.com'.

I'm using Norton, Ad-Aware 6.0, Spybot Search & Destroy, Anonymizer, and SpywareBlaster. I have Sygate's Personal Firewall. As a side note, I also use Proxyconn, which is supposed to speed up my IE.

Anyway, here is the Log from HijackThis:

    Hi Mjolnir,

Before you start please move hijackthis.exe to a folder of it´s own. The program creates backups in the folder it is in. These will now end up on your desktop.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = www.spotresults.com/
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cus.../*http://www.yahoo.com/ext/search/search.html

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customize/ie/defaults/su/ymsgr/*http://www.yahoo.com

    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {8952A998-1E7E-4716-B23D-3DBE03910972} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [fash] C:\WINDOWS\fash.exe

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTools] C:\Program Files\Common files\WinTools\WToolsA.exe

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [LDM] C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\BackWeb-8876480.exe

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SPYKILLER] C:\Program Files\Anonymizer\sk\SpyWareKiller.exe /BOOT

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\Program Files\Common files\WinTools <= entire folder
    C:\WINDOWS\fash.exe

    Download LSPfix here: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
Launch the application, and click the "I know what I'm doing" checkbox.
Check all instances of inetadpt.dll (and nothing else), and move them to the "Remove" pane.
    Then click Finish.

    Download VX2Finder from this link:
    http://tools.zerosrealm.com/VX2Finder.exe

Run Vx2Finder click on the *click to find VX2.BetterInternet* button. Then click *make log*.

Copy and paste the contents of the log into your next reply here.

    Regards,

    Pieter
