Hi I use Spotify, and think its a very good program. Apparently, its uses p2p technology, and you can add your own music files to be uploaded.
So, sorry if this sounds a bit naive, but is it totally safe to use ? I realise people who don't usually use p2p programs, (like me) get worried obout others getting files off their pc, ( i read this is down to ignorance )
    I just worry about hackers.
I do run Spotify sandboxed. Many thanks

Running Spotify sandboxed is ok if you're not constantly deleting the sandbox, as Spotify maintains a large cache of your music.

There is nothing unsafe about peer to peer technology.
