Maybe it'd have worked better with Ubuntu 14.04 instead of 16.04?
Just wondering, because 16.04 was not working very well for lots of people.
    Thanks for the review!

Fixed or not, who can be so certain?

    https://www.engadget.com/2016/11/11/spotify-desktop-app-data/

For the time being, I am going to stick to Opera or Firefox as my spotify player. Unless the web player also can mess up one's SSD??

Now that I have lost trust in Spotify app - I need to get rid of it entirely.

    How to proceed?

I mean Octopi shows Spotify as AUR, but what about those cached files? Filelight shows over 4GB

I guess they need to be removed separately, or will they magically disappear upon the uninstall process?
