Looks like a Trojan to me.

From the fine folks who brought you SpywareNuker; with the stolen Spybot S&D database.

Are you saying both of those programs have spyware attached to them?
I have Spybot Search and Destroy, and I'm using SpywareNuker right now!

    Summary -

Spybot S&D is a great program; very useful and I love it ;)

Spyware Nuker is a rip-off of Spybot.

Yes, that software is nothing but spying software that needs to be installed on the target system to do its spying. The disturbing part of such packages is always this:

As clearly shown by that statement, this software whether legitimate or not, is using Trojan like features to spy on innocent people. But, Detox and Pieter have covered all of this.

What I want to point out here is that this was not was this topic was about. It was about being able to map a person's IP Address to their actual physical location in the world. Spy software is a completely different thing.

    - edited because of split from other "topic".

The program mentioned, comes bundled in a suite of spying programs called "Parental Controls".
When all of those are used together, they can track you to state/city/zipcode/home address.

Spying software is a terrible thing. Whether people use packages like this or real Trojans they find out on the Internet and somehow get on to people's systems, it all boils down to spying illegally on people.

I would hope people have their systems secured enough so that these packages won't install when they get that email this package talks about as the source of the installation.
