    :D Hi Everyone:

The "Wildman" has done gone and added Firefox, because Outlook Express is no longer apparently "free".

I am lost with out a spell checker, so I need a spell checker that will work with Firefox. I also need step by step instructions on how to install everything.

    Thanks
    Wildman

 No luck thus far, every thing I have tried does not appear to work, oh well, and I am not a good speller, plus the vision problem does not help the situation either. Dang, the only reason I stuck with IE for so long was because of the spell checker. Will give up for now, and make my appoligies now for any spelling mistakes that may occur.

    Thanks
    Wildman

This is the only one I could get to work in FireFox -- that was easy to use and did not take a lot of resources. :)

I am using the "free" version of this one -- works just like the author says it is supposed to!

    Hi Wildman

The program (tinyspell) that lambChop recommended is quite good,
it can be used in Outlook Express, Notepad, Searchboxes and
basically anywhere where you type words. It sits in your system
tray and If you misspell a word it will beep to let you know.
if you then left click on the icon you will get various spellings
of the word. You can also add words to the dictionary if you want to.

The + version requires a small payment but you can run it for
30 minutes before it becomes inactive, you then have to shut it
down and restart for a further 30 minutes you can do this indefinitely.
You can also get the additional British dictionary that it refers to
    from this site http://www.stepup.com.au/download.htm
download it and copy the 2 files to the tinyspell+ folder in Program files.

    Hope this helps

It worked for me, but when I updated to 1.5.0.1, it stopped.

It doesn't look like Spellbound has been updated for a while.

:D Thank you everyone. I took Lamb Chops suggestion and downloaded tiny spell, it appears to be doing just what it is supposed to do.

I also must say I am liking Firefox much better than I.E., and my browsing seems to be going much faster also.

    Thanks
    Wildman
