I have a spare netbook that I would like to put into use as a security device of some sort. It's an ASUS Eee PC 1000HA netbook with only 1GB of RAM.

I thought about a firewall with Linux but my router already runs the latest Tomato firmware and I am not sure what else I might be able to do.

The machine was an impulse buy. I now have two laptops, two workstations, and two netbooks. Sad! More money than sense, it seems.
