Hi I am new and I hope that I do the right thing in asking about something that may belong somewhere else.

I just started using ‘True Image’ and found that I can only burn an image onto CD’s but not onto DVD’s. If so, that would span, in my case, at the highest compression rate about 14 CD’s.

Am I missing something, or are we going backwards to the times of floppies?

I know that I can save an image onto a HDD, but if one only has one, and that one decides to retire what should I do then? o_O

    Hello endless,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

You can store the image to DVDs if you have UDF writing software. The details on how to do that are available at our on-line article. If you have further questions please feel free to ask.

    Thank you.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I just downloaded the evaluation package and I must say I am impressed how intuitive this software is in comparison to other products I’ve used. But when it came to spanning disks I thought, there we go again, ie nothing is perfect. Now however I am nearly convinced that it is.

    Thank you.

    Hi, endless

Burn them from the HDD to DVD. [that way you do not need to use UDF writing software]

    Take Care,
