Just renewed Nod 32 last week. This is my 3rd year with the program and I have been very happy with it.
My question relates to something called Sophos Anti-Virus program that seems to be on my computer now. I have not installed it and don't know what it is. Is it related to Nod 32?

Are you possibly running Webroot's Spy Sweeper with anti-virus because that is the engine it uses?

Then go to Add or Remove Programs and uninstall it.

    Cheers :D

Will uninstall. Wasn't sure, at first, if it was connected to Nod 32.
    Thanks.

Is this a personally owned system? Sophos is primarily a Business/Enterprise AV, there may be some issues with removing it if it is a company/university owned computer. Did you get it from your employer or a university?

No, this is a home based computer only. The only items that I have downloaded b4 recognizing the Sophos Anit-Virus was Nod 32 and Windows Updates.

OK, just checking as Sophos is not very common with home users. Perhaps they have an OEM deal with your computer's manufacturer.

Lots of schools, both here in Ireland and esp. in the UK use it.
