    hi all

Hi I've just downloaded this Active X plugin (you know why!).

Anyone here uses it? Is it safe (spyware/malicious)? Your views and experiences please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi dogma welcome to Wilders

I've used sopcast to watch premiership football games for the last year and had no problems except on my system the quality of the picture is not very good.

Thanks Tex, I think the quality may depend more on your broadband speed. Hope to join you in a few weeks, can't wait!. I only wish I discovered it earlier.

Hey Tex, Can you get the England International games with this? If so is there a charge? Do you know if there is a block on the England games outside of the UK?

I'm not too sure about the international games as I have sky sports so don't need to go there.
As far as I know everything is free.
There are lots of different matches and different sports from around the world. I think they get away with it because the games are shown about 3 minutes behind real time.

I don't know what that actually does, (it can be terminated in task manager) and is terminated on a re-boot.
As I said I have had no problems and if I can watch my favourite football teams home and away matches I would gladly put up with a few adverts just like most normal television stations.

    Lucky guy!

Do you know an alternative? And do you know if it does anything that it's not suppose to (i.e. other then show ads)?

It terminates as soon as you close the browser, here.

    Ditto

Last year i used ppmate all season and found it to be the best of them all.
I downloaded the latest version a few days ago though, and kaspersky reported it as a trojan.
Dont know if this was a fp or not.

It was a false positive for sure; i just scanned the last version on VirusTotal and only Dr.Web founded something, and again i think is a DrWeb fp too. PPmate is great program in China with thousands of users so like i said is just a fp.

I have tried umpteen programs (sattelite & terrrestial) where you can watch the odd occassional football match but what I want is to be able to watch my favourite team EVERY MATCH whether at home or away.
It doesn't matter who your team is because the site I relate to covers 90% of all premiership games.
Unless I'm missing something none of the links on these sites will do this.
If I can watch Middlesbrough (my home team) every match on one of these sites please tell me what I need to do,

Actually, that'd be the Redmond in the state just north of Oregon - the small(er) town with a big name because of a certain large company.
Oh well, at least there are other good companies here, and the area restaurants aren't too bad either ;)

I have used both ppmate and sopcast plugin, and I prefer the sopcast (plugin). The pluin integrates fine with IE7 and you can use an external player like windows media player with one click of your mouse. This enables viewing full screen mode. On top of that, only one advert is shown in the window whilst it's buffering and that's it. No more ads. No more windows opening. No more annoyance.

Is their a browser plugin available for ppmate? Otherwise I think I'm sticking to sopcast. Thank you all.

No probs, Tex. Love that song by the BEPs.
