I heard a lot of good things about lns. I insalled it but my connection didn't start at all, the cause is that the driver installed with LNS has caused a trouble with my USB modem. I tried many things but always fail however I still believe that there is a solution this what I turned to you
I have win xp pro sp2
I used before sygate pro 5.5
    Thank you !!! o_O o_O

Could you confirm your connection doesn't work even if Look 'n' Stop is just installed but not running ?

Are you sure you completely uninstalled all previous firewall you were using ?

    Thanks,

    Frederic

    Hi,

My question was not "uninstalled without rebooting" but "still installed without running".

If you are doing uninstall/re-install... please reboot before re-installing to avoid some issues.

    Thanks,

    Frederic

Please make sure your LAN/WAN IP range is already set.

Options -> Advanced options -> Network interface autodetect.....
    It must have 127.0.0.1
And If your LAN range is 192.168.1.0-192.168.1.255, then add and type ";192.168.1"

The autodetect should be working. (see attachment picture)

I don't know your USB Modem type (56K or xDSL/Cable)?
Could you post your LNS "options page" screen shot?

You would also want to disable it by taking the check out of "Application Control Enabled" and "Internet Filtering Enabled' because LnS may still be working even when the application is closed. Did you also check the log to see if any connections were being blocked?
