Some one hacked into my email account

Some one hacked into my email account. I think he or she has changed my emails password .As I'm not able to log into it. As I have my passwpor written on a page at my home and I'm confirmed that some one has changed it or reset it .
So please advise me how do I log on back to my email id.
I know my secret question.
but nothing else I can remember as the altenate email id is also been changed as when i went through the I forget my password steps it does not allows me and the account is nearly 7 yrs old and lot of my friends has the same id.

 

What do you mean your friends have the same id? That makes no sense security wise? These friends may be the hackers!

Call the ISP support center asap, cancel your account/ psw's etc.

Start fresh and do it right this time. Secure id's secure psw's which you change regularly. Your PC must have been left on and/or exposed to intrusion. You need to psw protect the PC itself so only you can log on.

Never leave an account dormant like that ever!
