    I read here that this version, 2007, is much lighter and is really an excellent AV or suite. That is a good deal, but I can't figure out what I would do with it.

    What do you have it installed upon?

    I thought you had two computers, a laptop and a new desktop. A wealthy man like you, who likes to try various applications, probably needs three. Tell your wife it is for her own benefit.:D Maybe that will work, but probably not.:D :D

    Do you like it as well as Avira? Or maybe NOD??

    actually for reasons that I wont get into, it is doing very well. Second quietest to F Secure that I have tried. It is on both computers and will be waiting on 2008.

    Yes as soon as the 08 is available, uninstall the 07 and install the 08 on the same computer. It shouldn't even ask you for a key. The 08 will be valid for the rest of your 365 days.
