    Hello,

why is nod32kui.exe eating more and more memory. After booting my computer it took about 1MB and now it takes 5MB. Before a reboot it took 8MB. The enhanced graphics are disabled. Restarting nod32kui does not reduce the memory usage.

Is it ok, tha nod32krn eats 10 MB?

Does the antivir-plugin for TheBat also use the advanced heuristics?

    Thank you in advance,

    Tekl

It start to use less memory when you have been used your computer a lot of hour?. When I start my PC, NOD and others took much memory that if I have been used the computer more time.
Regarding the plug-in for The Bat!, it's not necessary, because IMON scan incoming mail without the help of The Bat! plug-in.

    Hello,

here the steps to reproduce the memory-thing (bug?):
    - open the task-manager and look for nod32kui (after boot)
    - click on NOD32 in the Tray
    - click on some Modules etc. in the control center and look at the Task-Manager
    - with the enhanced gui it grows up to 3 MB
    - without the enhanced gui it grows up to 2.4 MB
    - if you open the help, the memory usage will grow to 8.5/7.7 MB
    - click on the Close-Button (double arrows in enhanced gui) in the window-title (minimize to tray)
    - nothing will happen in the taskmanager
    - reopen the Control Center
    - Now minimze to the taskbar (not tray) with the standard-button in the window-title
    - look at the task-manager, now it takes only about 700 kb (sometimes 300 kb)
    - if you have disabled the enhanced gui, it's possible to right click on the taskbar-button of NOD32. If you close it this way, the memory usage will be around 1 MB

    Strange ...
