    C:\WINDOWS\bewkashjw.exe
    C:\Program Files\webHancer <------folder
    C:\WINDOWS\refubox.exe < ----- see above !

Then reboot and use AdAware as described :

    Re: My Hijackthis Log

    Thanks Marianna,
So far so good....but after rebooting to use AdAware I got the following error message: "CManager - Application Fatal Error: Unable to connect to the CCD Process" Yikes! I clicked okay and ran AdAware and cleaned some more stuff off. I also used Disk Cleanup Utility to empty the temp files. Before I disable system restore I thought I would ask you about the error message. Should I proceed with disabling system restore? Please advise!

    Re: My Hijackthis Log

    Answersthatwork TaskList

Scroll a little way down that page and look for CCD.exe. The recommendation there says that the Broadjump's CCD is definitely not needed, but if it was installed with your ISP's software (Cmanager) then in most cases you cannot uninstall the CCD part without it effecting your DSL connection manager software.

Scroll further down the page and look for Cmanager: "Connection Manager application for the SBC Yahoo DSL Internet access service".

It gives you the suggestions on that page to uninstall and reinstall your connection software, but if you are not comfortable in doing that, then I would leave the CCD.exe alone.

If you did have AdAware remove the Broadjump's CCD.exe, you may be able to restore it from the backups in AdAware. Then hopefully you will not have that error message again.

    Hope that helps,

    Regards,

    snap
