[Solved]I can't open the regedit & Msconfig

    Hi

    I can't open the regedit and Msconfig, it will appear and disappear after few seconds. Can someone help me, here is my hijackthis.log.

    Before you begin, create a permanent folder for Hijackthis and move HijackThis into its own folder.

    Make sure you have Hidden Files and Folders Viewable
    Click Start > My Computer >Select the Tools menu >click Folder Options >Select the View Tab.
    Under the "Hidden files and folders" heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
    UN-check the "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" option.
    Then click Yes

    Reboot your computer into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key just before windows begins to load.

    Bring up TaskManager and end the running processes for these files, if present:
    snlogsvc.exe
    msvsrv32.exe
    wjservb.exe



    Then in Hijackthis, place a check beside the following items.
    Make sure you have ALL browsers and any other programs closed (except Hijackthis) and click *Fix checked

    Find the following files, zip up a copy of them and send by email to submit@diamondcs.com.au for analysis. Please include a link back to this thread in the email message, thank you.

    Then delete them:

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\mwpvxie.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\snlogsvc.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\msvsrv32.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\wjservb.exe

    While still in safe mode, empty your Temp folders' contents:
    C:\Windows\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit -> Select All then Edit -> Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder (do not delete the Temp folder itself)

    C:\Documents and Settings\ <user's name>\Local Settings\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit -> Select All then Edit -> Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder (do not delete the Temp folder itself) <--do this for all users.

    Open Internet Explorer - >Control Panel > Internet Options. On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files". Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK. Now click the "Delete Cookies" button and click OK.

    Reboot your computer back into normal mode and go to one of these on line scans and do a FULL system scan and fix/delete what they find. Free Services

    Note, if you are having trouble getting to one of the on-line scan, your Hosts file may have been compromised.
    Download Hoster from here: http://members.aol.com/toadbee/hoster.zip
    Unzip the program, install it, and run it. Click on the "Restore Original Hosts" button, then click "OK".
    Close Hoster, and try the on-line scans again.

    When you have finished the on-line scan, rescan with Hijackthis and post a new log here in your next reply.

    You may want to print these instructions out, or save them to notepad so you can easily access them since you will be doing most of this while in safe mode

    Hi seiya,

    Good work, your log looks clean. Is everything working alright now?

    Once you are sure your system is clean, turn off System Restore, then reboot your computer to clean out the old restore points. This will remove any infected files that would have been backed up in your System Restore: System Restore Instructions for XP. Remember to re-enable System Restore after the reboot, and set a new Restore Point.

    Make sure to visit Microsoft's Update Site regularly to keep your Critical Updates for XP and IE6 current.
