I stupidly downloaded and unzipped CRACK.ZIP. Result: At startup, dialler opens before Zone alarm. Then ZA tells me that run.exe is trying to access the net. I deny it access. How can I solve this? I have run Adaware and it eliminated the Favourite parasite. I ran Spybot S&D and it eliminated lots of spyware. However a follow up scan says that I have ROIMOI/TEST on board.
    What can I do?

    Retired
PS: I tried to find a reference to ROIMOI in the REGISTRY at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion (as instructed at "doxdesk") without success.

Here is the HijackThis log file.

Have just noticed that SPYBOT S&D keeps telling me that it has blocked "doubleclick" from loading. What is this?

    HI retired

DoubleClick develops the tools that advertisers, direct marketers and web publishers use to plan, execute and analyze marketing programs.
Open spybots&d - click on "immunize" > at the bottom > look for: "look for all bad pages silently" !

Have Hijack This fix the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and selecting fix checked.
Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing

    R3 - URLSearchHook: IncrediFindBHO Class - {5D60FF48-95BE-4956-B4C6-6BB168A70310} - C:\PROGRA~1\INCRED~1\BHO\INCFIN~1.DLL

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mswspl] C:\DOCUME~1\j\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX00.640\run.exe

Then reboot and use AdAware as described :
    HERE

    Spybot S&D
The download for Spybot S&D is available here: http://www.computercops.biz/downloads-file-108.html

Install by double-clicking on the downloaded file.
Run Spybot S&D from desktop icon or Start menu.
Press "Search for updates" button to get list of updates available.
    Press "Download updates" button.
Close all IE windows and close & restart Spybot S&D.
    Press "Check for problems" button.
Have SpyBot remove all it marks in red by pressing "Fix selected problems".

Close Spybot S&D, reboot your system .

Then browse to the C:\documents and settings\\User Name (repeat for all users)\local settings\temp folder and delete all files and folders in it.
Then browse to the C:\Windows\Temp folder and delete all files in it.
Then in internet explorer click tools>internet Options>General. Click on Delete Files make sure you get all offline content as well.

Then Disable system restore: Instructions here
    Reboot

    Enable System Restore.

    Problem gone?

    Thank you for your help.
I think I have solved everything except that SPYBOT S&D still tells me that it is blocking "doubleclick".

    HI there

Log looks clean to me :0

As to spybot - OPEN spybot - go to "immunize" > look at the bottom and look for "Block all pages silently". That should do the "trick" :)

Marianna, you are a wonder. Thankyou for your fantastic support. Cheers and best wishes for the future. RETIRED

PS: I also tried PANDA and it found four viruses not found by Nortons AV. They were old backdoors. Is it common for Panda to outdo NAV?

    Hi Retired,

Personally - I DUMPED Norton though I had it for 4 years - If you stay with Norton - do an on-line scan REGULARLY :)

You're Welcome - glad we could help :)

    Happy Safe Computing !
