I have made backups on Blu-Ray of hard drives for our turn-key system. We expect to use these BRs to copy the disk image to other disks to be used on the same computer. Can I make a backup of a BR image on another hard drive that can then be used to make another BR disk?

I tried copying all files from the BR disk to the hard drive (using Windows Explorer) but received an Error on each of the .00A, et.al. files. The message was "Error 0x80070450: No more data is on the tape". (tapeo_O yes, that's what is says)

Is it possible? Is there another way I should do it?

    Thanks

    Re: Backup of a backup

At the suggestion of a colleague I found a way to do what I was asking for.

I can make an iso image of the disk (using BurnAware) and write it to the hard drive. Later I can burn it to another BluRay disk and use that to restore. Yes, it works. I did it today.
