Solution to missing Serial Number for 3666 update install

    I installed TI9 Home build 3666 over build 3633. As others have already reported, the program complains about the Serial Number being missing. For some reason the install is erasing the Serial Number info from the registry.

    If you are using my BartPE plugin, the solution is simple. Just go to the plugin folder for TI9 Home and open TrueImageH9.inf. Scroll to the end of the file and you will see the Serial Number. Highlight the long number between the quotes. Be carefull to include the leading spaces. Hit Ctrl-c to copy the number to the clipboard. Now run regedit. Navigate to HKLM\Software\Acronis\TrueImage. In the right window you should see the word "standard" with a blank data value. Highlight the word "standard". Go to the menu and select Edit/Modify. Now hit Ctrl_v to copy the number from the clipboard. Hit OK. Close regedit. You are done. TI9 should run as expected.

    If you are not using my plugin, you will need to export the HKLM\Software\Acronis\TrueImage before you run the install over build 3633. After you run the install, you will need to import the key you previously exported.
