Software to protect private information

    I need a software to protect my personal information.

    1. Secure your pc using security software:
    Use an antivirus + firewall + (hips)
    2. Use a software like Truecrypt to encrypt your data
    3. Keep your OS and software up to date
    4. Use a router with firewall

    If by "protect your personal information" you mean online or while your surf and use services or if you'd like to surf anonymously then that's another story but there are services and software for that scope.

    Try Archicrypt 5 from Micro Application

    ArchiCrypt 5 is an encryption system on the fly (real time), to create "containers" in the form of virtual drives in just four steps. Each container, real safe on his PC, can collect up to 256 GB of data, variable size depending on the operating system and file system.
