I've got here a notebook of a friend who asked me to install Windows 8 in his
5 years old ,Vista equipped machine.

As I need to transfer in the new install all data about wired and wireless Networks he's using ,and in order to save time, I'd like to use a transfer software, but I dont remember any doing this, although I used one many years ago when there was still dial-up connection.

Windows Easy Transfer I dont think will also cope with Network-connections data.

As the only Windows 8 install I did up to now was a FRESH one, I dont remember if ,when you install as an upgrade it retains all connective data, including the wireless ones.

Can someone please suggest either the simplest/swiftest method to copy/transfer OR a software which can do it?
