Softpedia interview with Sophos

    I've read this;)

    I think they'd get more brand awareness if they offer a free AV for Windows home users. Take Avast or AVG for example. But then again, the competition is already quite large. Hence, the only assumption I can make is that Sophos think that they might as well start out with offering to the Mac community and then slowly gaining dominance and market share of that platform. Sophos would be the "big name" for Mac users just like "Symantec" is for Windows users, although the latter offers no free version. Quite a smart move I must say.

    I also agree with safeguy. They want to make big name of their company for Mac users.

    Its working, using it on my mac, very light and very good and very free :D
