I actually like how easy Norton Ghost is, however, I'll only back up manually so I disabled all reference from my startup! However, there are three processes running that are all connected with their anti virus application. Indeed, there are definitions in the ghost cd in case you need to remove a virus before a boot and restoration. They are only using a few hundred kbs but I'd like to end them. I assume they'd load right up the next time I opened ghost anyway. They are symlcsvc, ccevtmgr and ccsetmgr. Should I end them since all searches only suggest they are part of their security suite? Thank You!
