    Hi all,

I am confused. I installed TI home 4942, and I have created a USB stick with it. I have no interest in running it from inside Windows.

My PC has an Intel P35 chipset (with the ICH9R RAID integrated controller), and two SATA drives. Strangely, TI can recognise them fine when they are in RAID mode, but it can't when they're standalone!!!

In particular, I have tried to set the two disks up both in IDE and AHCI mode. In neither case TI was able to see any disk.

Any help would be appreciated. Perhaps an option to 'integrate' drivers inside the bootable rescue media would be useful...

This chipset seems to be troublesome. Search the forum because this question has come up before. Raise a support request with Acronis or build a BartPE CD which uses windows drivers Mustang's Beginner's Guide to Create a BartPE CD with a plugin. Unlike the rescue CD you can add drivers to BartPE.

    Hello grpprod,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please try booting with "acpi=off noapic" parameter as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

Please create Acronis Report, Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) and Windows system information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
