snapapi in Fedora Core 3 Linux

I need help. I can't figure out how to compile the module. I'm pretty new at all this so if anyone has the bash skills to give me the proper commands, that would be appreciated. I installed the kernel source for 2.6.12_1.1372_FC3 my current kernel as Drive Image setup told me too.

How do I get snapapi to work?

I sent an email to support@acronis.com with a link to this thread. Don't know what config file the User Guide is referring to. Anyone successful in installing True Image 8.0 Linux on Fedora Core 3, I would like to hear from you.
